EMEDITH CONSULTING is seeking to employ a vibrant and confident individual with skill and prowess in effective communication in order to expand its client base and market its existing products and services via all the various possible means/strategies amongst others.
Role Summary:
- To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
- To evaluate customer research, market conditions, ‘competitor’ data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.
- To oversee all marketing, advertising and promotion of activities after approval from the Head Consultant.
- To co-ordinate the public relations of the company under the supervision of the Head Consultant.
- To ensure a continued and relevant presence of the company on all social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating marketing strategies to suit the company’s profile.
- Responsible for the marketing of company products (Live sessions, audio sessions, e-books, CD,etc) and services to the right target.
- Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge.
- Develop quarterly marketing plan in conjunction with the Head Consultant. (note: This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives.)
- Budget management: To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.
- To co-ordinate all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
- To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media (print, electronic, internet).
- To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future programmes for the company.
- To develop and implement a company-wide plan to push company product, working with all departments for its execution.
- To identify potential strategic partner relationships with other companies as the need arises.
- To manage and identify advertising opportunities.
- To maintain, build and update company databases.
- To organise and attend events and exhibitions, where necessary.
- To carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
- To periodically evaluate marketing campaigns undertaken by the company
Qualifications and relevant requirements:
- A minimum of a Second Class lower Bachelor’s degree in any communication or marketing related discipline.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- A passion for surpassing set goals
- Experience in the marketing industry may be an added advantage but not necessary.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes and other relevant programmes.
- Familiarity with social media tools.
- Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- A willingness to travel and work out of the company office as the need demands.
- A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Remuneration:
A competitive and attractive monthly salary, exclusive of the commissions.
