STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
DESCRIPTION
Our client requires the services of a qualified candidate to fill this position.
Recommend removal or repair of defective parts or rebuild the entire structure
Make drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for building contractors
Investigate ground conditions and analyze results of site tests, such as soil samples
Liaise with construction contractors to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally sound
Use computers and computer-aided design (CAD) technology for simulation purposes
QUALIFICATION
University degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 4 years work experience as a Structural Engineer
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD
Leadership skills
Interpersonal skills
