Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a Pan African business and financial media network to recruit a Sales Manager for its operations in Nigeria.

Job description

The Sales Manager would be required to positively increase the sales revenue for the Media & Adverting dept, through quality customer service as well as expanding the new customer base.
The position will report to the General Manager.
The job is located in Lagos- Nigeria.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and utilize research results in order to optimise revenue.
  • Establish, manage and maintain positive relationships with all internal stake holders.
  • Establish, manage and maintain positive commercial relationships with agencies and clients directly in order to generate income and profits for the region
  • Perform any other duties as required by the General Manager Sales
  • Develop and monitor operational sales strategies.
  • Maximise Sales revenue through the development and allocation of sales targets and the monitoring of sales performance against the sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor business in order to identify and exploit new business opportunities and increase market share.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for developing quotes as well as preparing contracts, including collection of due payment.
  • Responsible for coordinating the installation for all secured sales between client and internal relevant departments.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with agencies, media buyers /entities and government relationships.
  • Knowledge about financial and commercial matters; focuses on costs, profits, markets and new business opportunities

Qualifications and Experience
  • University Degree
  • 3-5years' experience in similar role
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Passion for media (Specifically Print) and long term vision
  • Knowledge of the media landscape and thorough understanding and interpretation of industry tools
  • Oral & Written Communication
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent selling skills
